The level was made at the beginning of the 20th century. Rough levelling is made possible by a circular level. The levelling toric level is coincident. It is observed through the eyepiece of the telescope and the position of the bubble is adjusted with the tilting screw. The instrument is small, robust and very practical.
The level was polished and partially lacquered in 2016. The color of the restored instrument is unfortunately lighter than the original color. It is in the choice of colors that restoration work is most challenging.
