The level was made around 1950. The instrument is compact and very practical. The levelling toric level with the tilting screw is coincident. The special features of the instrument are a modular micrometer with a plane parallel plate of 5 mm pitch and wedge crosshairs. The graduation unit of the micrometer is 0.05 mm; thus, it can be classified as a precise level. The basic precision of the level is 3 mm, with a micrometer of 0.8 mm for 1 km double-run levelling.
The instrument is still fully functional, in the same condition as when it was originally taken out of service.
