The level with horizontal circle (transit) was made around 1950. A reversible coincidence toric level is built in to provide a horizontal line of sight, and can be reversed together with the telescope. The instrument has an unprotected horizontal circle, a sexagesimal division with a graduation unit of 1° applied to the glass bracket. The division is read using a line microscope.
The instrument was cleaned in 2016 and since then it can no longer be rotated around the station axis.
