The medium-precision electronic theodolite was made in 1985. The instrument has the Kern levelling method with only two tangential foot screws, which ensures a constant height of the instrument's Y-axis. It has a built-in two-axis electronic compensator. The glass supports of the circles have an incremental encoder. When switched on, the instrument always re-defines the zero point of vertical circle by resetting the telescope over the horizon. The four screens display the values of horizontal direction and zenith distance and the tilt of the station axis, and the instrument can also calculate the horizontal distance and height difference if a DM-series distance meter is added.
The instrument, in combination with the DM-series distance meter, was a useful electronic tacheometer, mainly used for measuring in polygon nets and for measuring detailed measurements. An external computer could be connected to it to store data and make simple calculations.
The instrument is in the same condition as when it was originally taken out of service. It is almost new, having been used only a few times.
